8 Teams to be in this Years NPC Competition
Eight teams are going to compete in this year's NPC Competition with two new teams and one team from last year dropping out.The new teams are Counties and Taranaki with Hawkes Bay who was in the event last year deciding not to compete this season .

With the final to be curtain raiser to the Men's Final on 26th October means the Competition will commence on 7th September

Rugbygirl Foundation

Rugbygirl Foundation Incorporated is a non-profit incorporated society affiliated to the New Zealand Schools Rugby Council set up to obtain funding to allocate grants to increase and retain the number of girls playing rugby (which encompasses fifteens, tens, sevens and touch) at school levels. These grants will cover playing and training aids, tournaments including travel and accommodation, player development, coaching and referee recruitment and development.
