Ten teams including the top 3 schools from the 2012 Condor Sevens played in the 2013 North Island Secondary Schools’ Sevens Championship at Blake Park, Mount Maunganui on 21st and 22nd March in fine, warm weather

Rugbygirl Foundation ran a very successful two day Sevens training camp in Wellington (to coincide with the IRB Wellington Sevens) for 22 selected secondary school girls.

Feilding High School won the Inaugural Girls’ Condor Sevens Title beating Mahurangi College 27-12 in the final. Mahurangi scored first but Feilding replied with 5 tries with Mahurangi scoring it's second try in the last minute of the game.

The 16 schools to participate in the inaugural Girls’ Condor Sevens, being played at Kelston Boys’ High School on Sunday 2nd December have been finalised .These teams come from 14 provinces making the event a true national competition.
